My daughter photographed a lot of her 2-month-old baby girl since the day she was born. Most of the photographs are stored in her computer and I’ve been pestering her to have them printed out for me. I’m old-school and prefer browsing photographs from an album or mounted in a nice frame.

On my birthday, she gave me something much nicer. Something which I’ve never seen before. When I unwrapped my birthday present box, there were 2 digital photo frames – an aluminium coated 7-inch frame and a 10-inch frame in stunning walnut colored wood style from DigitalFramez.com. Of course, old grandma here knows absolutely nothing about digital technology so I found it strange to see electrical wires in a photo frame. But after reading the manual, I managed to hooked it up in no time and switched it on. To my surprise, all my grand-daughter’s photographs are stored in the digital frames.

I love these digital picture frame. Photographs can be set to display in slide mode and short video clips can be played too. It’s a definite conversation piece when guests drop by for a visit.
