The century eggs are prepared using chicken and duck eggs where these eggs are preserved for 100
days. They are coated in a mixture of lime, salted, tea, ashes and rice husks. The greyish eggs
shelled, sliced and served with pickled ginger. The salted eggs go well with rice porridge
