Tomato and Egg Gravy Rice with Pork Chop

Want to learn how to cook a delicious and mouth-watering pork chop? You can serve with tomato and egg rice.

Ingredients:

Pork Chop:

1 piece lean pork about 120g
¼ tablespoon salt, 1-tablespoon plain flour
¼ tablespoon five spices powder
1 egg beaten
½ cup breadcrumbs
Tomato and egg rice
1-tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tomato cut into pieces
1 egg beaten

Seasoning:

3-tablespoon tomato sauce, 60ml water
½ tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar
1- tablespoon water, mixed with 1- tablespoon corn flour for thickening
1 plate white rice
1 tablespoon chopped spring onion

Method:

How to cook the pork chop?

First, pound lean pork with back of a knife until tender. Then add in salt and five spices powder and mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
Next, coat with plain flour and follow by beaten egg and lastly coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat up the oil for deep-frying, deep fry the pork chop until golden brown. Dish and drain it. Finally cut into pieces and leave aside.

How to cook tomato and egg rice?

Heat up 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté chopped garlic until fragrant.
Add in tomato and stir-fry for a short while.
Next add in beaten egg and stir fry until cooked. Then add in seasoning and bring to boil and thicken with corn flour water.
Pour over the white rice in the plate and put the pork chop on top, then sprinkle chopped spring onion on top. Now is ready to serve hot.
