If your kids have sweet teeth, this mouth-watering chocolate fudge would be a taste-treat for them. It is easy to prepare and this fudge will make the kids yearn for more.
Ingredients:
400 gm granulated sugar
50 gm golden syrup
50 gm butter
1 small can sweeetened condensed milk
25 gm Van Houten Cocoa
4 tablespoon water
100 gm chopped nuts
Method:
Grease a tin measuring 7 inch well. Put sugar,water, cocoa, syrup, butter and milk into a heavy saucepan. Heat slowly, stirring all the time till sugar dissolves and butter melts. Bring to the boil and cover with a lid for 2 minutes, then lift up the cover. Continue to boil steadily for 25 minutes, stirring frequently. Test by dropping a little mixture into a cup of water to form a soft ball. Stir in nuts and vanilla essence and cool to lukewarm. Beat hard until thick and creamy, then transfer to the prepared tin. Spread smoothly with a knife. Mark into squares and leave in the refrigerater until set. Cut up and remove from tin when cold.
