Glutinous Rice Balls In Soya Milk

Normally ready cooked rice balls are put into boiled sugar syrup and eat cold or hot. In this recipe the ready made rice balls are put into soya milk to eat. You can add filling of nut paste or bean paste.

Ingredients:

200 gm glutnous rice flour, sifted
300 gm fragrant leave water (daun pandan)

Filling:
100 gm roasted peanuts, skinned and minced in a mincer

Soya Milk:
2 litre soya milk, bought from soya milk stall
sugar syrup given separately to suit taste

Method:

Knead flour and water to form soft dough. Divide into small parts to form small balls. flatten each ball and add a little filling and roll firmly into balls. Repeat until all the balls have finshed. Drop balls into hot boiling water. When they float to the surface, remove and place into a bowl of cold water. Add rice balls and syrup to taste into soya milk and serve.
