Do try this hot and spicy mutton dish. To those who like to eat spicy dish, it is just yummy to taste. Buy your mutton chops at any Supermarket and choose the mutton chops with more lean meat. Trim off excess fat and flatten chops.
Ingredients:
500 gm mutton chops
3 potatoes, cut into halves
2 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup tamarind juice
5 dried chillies , soaked to soften
4 green chillies, slit and deseed
8 small shallots
1 tablespoon ginger , finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon mustard
salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
Blend the dried chillies and shallots in a blender. Sieve out the liquid and put aside for later use. In a deep sauce pan, add oil, and put in the blended mixture, ginger, mustard to fry for 2 minutes. Add in potatoes, green chillies and the blended liquid and cook further 10 minutes or until potatoes are almost soft. Put in the mutton chops and tamarind juice and continue to simmer until meat is cooked and tender. Add some boiling water if gravy is too dry. Add salt to taste and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. serve hot with rice or chapptis.

Black pomfret is another variety of the pompret fish. It is usually best eaten fried or cook in curry. This is a simple Indian curry dish which uses lady fingers, tomatoes as the main ingredients. To cook good curry, you need a good quality The rest of minor ingredients are mention below.
Ingredients:
500 gm black pomfret
1 packet fish curry powder
1 clove garlic minced
5 small onions minced
2 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon mixed spice (use for fish curry)
1 branch curry leaves
2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
300 gm lady’s fingers, cut of both ends
500 ml water
2 tablspoon tamarind juice or lime juice
3 tablespoon thick coconut milk
Method:
Clean fish and cut into four pieces . Put aside. Blanch lady’s fingers in hot water for a minute and set aside. In a wok, put oil and fry minced garlic , onion, curry leaves and the mixed spice.
Keep stirring till fragrant and add in curry powder with a little water to mix smoothly. Then add in 500 ml water and bring to boil. Put in the fish pieces and the tomatoes.
Simmer until fish is cooked.
Add in lady’s fingers, tamarind juice or lime and coconut milk. Bring to boil and add salt to taste. Serve with rice.
